You know the score. you spend hours and hours working on your business and feel like you're getting nowhere fast. Giving up a normal life in an effort to become successful and free. Instead you become a slave to it desperately trying to make money. But Don't Panic. because that will obviously make it worse. Instead you need to chill a little (yes really!), take a step back and assess exactly where you are right now.
Yeah yeah, I know that's scary. You don't want to know exactly where you are right now simply because it scares the living daylights out of you and. it's so far from where you want to be!
BUT, you can't move forward successfully if you don't know where you're moving from. So take some time out to really think about WHAT you want and WHY you want it. This will help determine what size/type of business you need and then you can make plans to get there.
The worst thing you can do is rush blindly into projects. You'll get disheartened when they fail because without a plan you won't have a clue what or why you're doing this and consequently won't see how to fix it, which will not only hold you back. often it will bring you to a grinding halt!
Instead RUSH IN with your eyes wide open, that way you will learn along the way. How do you do this? Easy.
Step 1. Assess where you are now and what you want.
Be open and truthful with yourself. Write down what you want and why you want it. Don't hold back, this will cost you nothing more than a little of your time and you are the only one who needs to see it so you can put whatever you want.
Step 2. Find someone successful or a good coaching program to follow.
This is essential to your success. Look for a program with testimonials from people at all levels and one that offers good support so that when you have queries (and you will!) you'll get answers fairly quickly enabling you to move on.
Step 3. Create a plan to get what you want.
Okay you've decided what you want and why you want it, and you've found someone to help you along the way. Now you need a map so you know exactly where you're headed which means you get there quicker! You're in business so write a business plan. Don't be scared, just a simple one will do and remember it's not set in stone and can always be adjusted.
Step 4. Take Action, Take Action, Take Action
Step 5. TAKE MORE ACTION!
This is the ultimate step. You can do everything else but if you don't do this nothing will change. Never stop taking action, always be moving forward.this is the only way to succeed.
Of course, you have to take time to learn but the most important thing about your new knowledge is THAT YOU IMPLEMENT IT. Your business will NOT grow if you fail to take action.
A word of WARNING! Don't make the mistake of using Steps 1, 2 and 3 as excuses for not taking action. If you are not prepared to take any of these steps then you will have to face the fact that you are going to struggle to succeed.
So. Go For It. Dig your heels in and DO SOMETHING TODAY.
